The Main Input Screen contains the data related to the characteristics of the tank, the stored fluid and the candidate materials. Other secondary parameters may be adjusted by the user. Some examples are : plate dimensions, welding materials, external and internal coatings and labor costs. As soon as the user has introduced all data corresponding to their needs, the results of the cost analysis appear on the Result Screens in tabular or graphic form. Total Investment Cost and Life Cycle Cost may be visualized instantaneously, and the user will have access to detailed cost data concerning all manufacturing and maintenance operations over the expected tank life.The user will also have access to information related to the calculated wall thicknesses and the calculated weight for each part of the tank.       The complete master version of Calres software is an Excel-based tool which allows most of the parameters to be varied using input data boxes. This allows the user to adjust the required data to their needs.       The continuation of this program is a demo version of Calres software. This version allows you to simulate a cost analysis which provides a cost comparison of four materials by using some predefined parameters.
