History
Industeel in its current configuration was created in 1998 through the merger of two renowned steel companies, Creusot-Loire Industrie and Fabrique de Fer de Charleroi, to create a world leader in the field of specialty plate.
Industeel inherited the special steelmaking culture and metallurgical tradition of it’s founder companies, dating back to their origins as forgemasters in the 19th century.
Since 2006, Industeel has been fully integrated into the ArcelorMittal Group.
